Samsung, Apple, LG, Sony, HTC and other electronics giants have to watch out for Chinese Xiaomi looks to have a very competitive mobile in the new MI4. The phone, which was launched during an event held in Beijing today, invites namely impressive performance in a context very affordable price tag.

Most information on the phone have already leaked, but now it's at least officially confirmed what Xiaomi MI4 will house the specifications. The cell phone is based on a five-inch full HD-resolution screen. Under the hood sits a Snapdragon 801 system chip with a quad-core processor at 2.5 GHz and a graphics processor model Adreno 330. Working memory becomes 3 gigabytes large and the device will be available in two variants with 16 or 64 gigabytes of internal storage.

On the back is a photo of the lamp-equipped camera of 13 megapixels, while the front camera is equipped with 5 megapixels. The battery of the device has a capacity of 3080 milliamp hours and has support for fast charging, which means that the battery can charge to 60 percent in one hour.

The phone is built in a frame of metal and interchangeable back will be released in a number of different variants with mixed materials, such as leather and bamboo trees.

The prices when Xiaomi MI4 now released in the Chinese market is the equivalent of 2 200 for variant with 16 gigabytes of storage, while the price for the 64-gigabyte version is located on the corresponding 2750 crowns.
